A new service called headlime.com promises to take the pain out of copy-writing, by writing headlines and descriptions using artificial intelligence.
How does it work?
Basically, you can sign up for a free account. You’re given a limited amount of credits which can be used to write headlines or other copy.
Then you’ll fill in your Product Name, your Audience, and desired Voice (choose from Professional, Academic, Childish, Luxurious, Mysterious, Slang, Friendly, or Confident). Finally, include several paragraph about your product.
A Real World Example…
I decided to try it out using EZ-NetTools as an example. EZ-NetTools does marketing and web design for small businesses, so I filled out the form accordingly and copied some text from our website.
I was a little disappointed that the first result was pulled directly from the text I supplied. The rest of the results were a bit more original.
Some of the results seemed to remix what I’d already said, while other results were surprising original like…
“EZ-NetTools has been helping small businesses since 1999. As the Internet continues to grow, we’re always on top of the latest trends and developments in technology. We design custom websites for all types of small business needs – from e-commerce sites to blogs. We help with social media management and search engine optimization (SEO). Our team is here to make sure your website looks great and functions smoothly.”
A couple of interesting points:
- It seemed to pull the “1999” year out of thin air. EZ-NetTools has actually been around since 1996, but the supplied text did mention “years of experience” and one of the supplied testimonials was a customer that has been with us “for 17 years”.
